DR ‹ › PSV winger Couhaib Driouech appears to be frustrated at not being included in Morocco's squad for the upcoming friendlies ahead of this summer's World Cup. Fans pointed to a cryptic message he posted on Instagram as a sign of that frustration: «Some people never understand what you have to offer until they see you sitting at another table». The post came shortly after Ajax talent Rayane Bounida received his first call-up, having recently chosen to represent Morocco over Belgium. He has been included in the squad for friendlies against Ecuador and Paraguay and could make his debut. Driouech also shared photos highlighting his performances in PSV's Champions League wins over Liverpool (4-1), where he scored twice, and Napoli (6-2), where he recorded a goal and an assist. Born in the Netherlands, Driouech began his professional career at Heerenveen before moving to Excelsior in 2021 and joining PSV in 2024. He has represented Morocco at U23 level, notably winning the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, but has yet to earn a senior cap.
