The forum was centered around themes of action, co-development, and complementarity. «Morocco has always been a close, credible, and high-quality partner for us», expressed the members of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE) for the Grand-Est region, who organized the event in collaboration with the Consulate General of Morocco in Strasbourg. The discussions underscored the increasing complementarity between the two economies, highlighting Morocco's strategic role as a «hub to Africa». Several priority sectors were pinpointed, particularly the water sector, in light of the global challenges posed by water stress. During the event, Soumia Bouhamidi, the Consul General of Morocco in Strasbourg, emphasized Morocco's economic strengths, citing ambitious structural reforms and a stable environment for investors. She also highlighted the synergy with the Grand-Est region, whose industrial expertise aligns with Morocco's emerging ecosystems. Bruno Roth, president of the organizing committee, commended the shared commitment to economic cooperation between France and Morocco, recognizing it as a significant driver for growth, innovation, and stability. He announced several upcoming actions and initiatives aimed at solidifying the French-Moroccan partnership within a framework of action, fostering shared development and tangible industrial projects. The event featured presentations on Morocco's economic opportunities and prospects leading up to 2030, including two roundtables focused on key sectors and operational strategies.
