DR ‹ › The criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal in Tangier sentenced TikToker known online as «Moulinex» and the mother of Adam Benchakroun on Wednesday morning to six years in prison each, along with a fine of one million dirhams per defendant. According to Le360, the two were prosecuted on charges of «human trafficking for sexual exploitation, including the prostitution of others through pornographic content and social media platforms, involving a minor under the age of 18 and spanning national borders». The charges also include «the production, distribution, and possession of pornographic material involving a minor, the exploitation of a minor for sexual purposes, public indecency, and the dissemination of claims intended to harm the private life of a minor». During the trial, TikToker Adam Benchakroun, who is involved in a separate case and appeared as a witness in this one, spoke of being exploited as a minor. He accused several individuals in Morocco and Turkey, stating that he had been exploited in exchange for large sums of money allegedly sent to his mother, who is among the accused. Benchakroun said he met «Moulinex» on multiple occasions in nightclubs in Tangier and Marrakech over the years. He claimed he was lured into sexual encounters with Gulf nationals in various locations and villas in exchange for money, adding that video recordings of these acts exist. For her part, Benchakroun's mother said she takes responsibility for what happened to her son, while denying some of the other charges against her.
