DR ‹ › Locally heavy thundery showers are expected on Monday and Tuesday in several provinces across Morocco, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) said. According to an orange-level weather alert, heavy thunderstorms (30 to 40 mm), accompanied by strong gusts and possible hail, are forecast on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the provinces of Khemisset, Sidi Slimane, Khenifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Saleh, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Settat, Marrakech, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Al Haouz, and Rehamna. The same phenomenon (25 to 30 mm) is expected from Monday at 6:00 p.m. to Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Driouch, Taza, and Taounat.
