A Dutch national was arrested at the Moroccan-Spanish border crossing of Bab Sebta in the early hours of Thursday, after Moroccan customs officers and national security agents found nearly 45 kilos of hashish concealed in his vehicle, reports De Telegraaf. The drugs were hidden in the front, rear, and under the chassis of a Mercedes GL320—an SUV with a new value of over €100,000, often reaching €150,000 with added features. The suspect, who was driving alone, was stopped around 1 a.m. before entering the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. He was immediately jailed and will appear in court. Moroccan police have launched an investigation to determine who was involved in the preparation of the vehicle and the concealment of the drugs.
