DR ‹ › Senegal said it will file a «corruption complaint» against five individuals in connection with the CAF decision that stripped them of the 2025 AFCON title, according to lawyer Seydou Diagne. Speaking during a press conference on Thursday in Paris, Diagne clarified that the complaint would not target the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, which had filed the appeal leading to the ruling. «To reassure the supporters… do not worry», he said, while strongly criticizing the decision, adding that it «cannot even be considered a true sporting justice ruling—it is so crude, so absurd, so irrational». FSF president Abdoulaye Fall described the move as a «moral and legal crusade», denouncing what he called an «administrative robbery» and insisting the federation would continue to challenge the outcome. Senegal has also contested CAF's Appeals Committee decision by filing an appeal on Wednesday. Ahead of a friendly against Peru in Paris this Saturday, Senegal plans to parade the AFCON trophy despite being stripped of the title.
