DR ‹ › Intense thunderstorms with hail are forecast for Thursday and Friday across several Moroccan provinces, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). The DGM has issued an orange alert, warning of locally intense thunderstorms expected to bring 25-40 mm of rain, accompanied by hail, from Thursday at noon until Friday at 2:00 AM. The affected provinces include Figuig, Jerada, Taourirt, Midelt, Boulemane, Taounate, El Hajeb, Khémisset, Ifrane, Khénifra, Khouribga, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Salah, Marrakech, Rehamna, Béni Mellal, and Azilal. Additionally, the DGM reports that similar weather conditions, with rainfall ranging from 20-30 mm, are expected to impact the provinces of Midelt, Tinghir, Figuig, Boulemane, and Errachidia on Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
