Morocco is conducting an economic roadshow in the Netherlands and Belgium from May 22-27, 2025, to promote private investment and showcase the kingdom's economic opportunities internationally. The mission, led by Delegate Minister Karim Zidane, represents a partnership between the Ministry of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation (MICEPP) and the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE). The initiative aims to strengthen economic ties with two key European partners and position Morocco as a strategic investment destination, reads a press release by AMDIE. The roadshow began in Amsterdam with the «Morocco Now» economic conference under the theme «Morocco – The Netherlands: Forging Stronger Business Ties for a Sustainable Future». The event coincided with the 415th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Morocco and the Netherlands. Key participants included Morocco's Ambassador to the Netherlands, AMDIE's Director General, and representatives from Dutch companies, including PAVECO, Klaas Puul, Proton Ventures, Meys, MESSEM, GSNA Solutions, and Eco-Stream. Targeted B2B meetings focused on the agro-industry, infrastructure, energy, and sustainable development sectors, identifying concrete investment opportunities and potential partnerships.
