An easyJet flight from London Gatwick to Marrakech was forced to divert to Faro, Portugal, last week after a group of British passengers caused a major disturbance onboard, British media reported. The six men, reportedly on a bachelor party, were removed by police after disruptive behaviour, including «vaping in their seats, drinking heavily, and abusing cabin crew». Eyewitnesses described the scene as tense, with crew warning the group several times before the captain decided to land. Eight Portuguese officers met the plane, escorting the unruly passengers off the aircraft. An easyJet spokesperson confirmed the diversion, stating that the crew acted swiftly to «ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers was not compromised at any time». The flight later continued its journey to Morocco.
