The coach of the Jordanian national football team, Moroccan Jamal Sellami, revealed that he has been contacted by officials from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation about the possibility of hosting a training camp in Morocco as part of Jordan's preparations for the 2026 World Cup. Sellami made history by leading Jordan to its first-ever World Cup qualification, securing second place in Group B of the Asian qualifiers. Speaking to local media, Sellami said he had developed a comprehensive preparation strategy, which he submitted to the Jordanian Football Association. The plan outlines the team's roadmap to compete at the highest level in the upcoming tournament. «Morocco has excellent sports infrastructure», he said. «If the Jordanian Federation agrees, we have no objection to holding the camp there, especially since being in Morocco would also give us the opportunity to play friendly matches against strong African teams».
