The 23rd edition of Morocco's Tanjazz festival will take place from September 18-20, 2026, organizers announced. Cultural producers Seven PM and the JAM association made the decision to skip the 2025 edition, citing the need to consolidate support and partnerships. Founded in 2000, Tanjazz has established itself as one of Tangier's most significant cultural events, celebrating jazz in various forms through outdoor concerts and intimate performances at iconic city venues. The festival's recent editions have shown strong performance metrics. In 2024, Tanjazz exceeded expectations by attracting over 59,000 visitors, reinforcing its position as a major cultural hub with performances blending Moroccan and international influences. Seven PM and JAM took over festival management in 2022, achieving immediate success. Seven PM, which also produces the Jazzablanca, Village Casa Anfa, and Casa Anfa Latina festivals, focuses on promoting Morocco as a cultural destination through recurring annual events. JAM, founded in 2020, operates as a non-profit association dedicated to promoting professional and amateur jazz and contemporary music practices. The organization conducts festivals, concerts, workshops, and masterclasses while offering free public performances. Both organizations expressed gratitude to partners and audiences while confirming their commitment to delivering a festival that meets Tangier's cultural standards and ambitions in 2026.
