The Justice and Development Party (PJD) and the Al Adl wal Ihsane movement have strongly condemned Israel's attack on Qatar on Tuesday, September 9. «We firmly condemn this cowardly and treacherous Zionist aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a brotherly Arab and Islamic state», declared the PJD in a statement released Tuesday evening. The party described the assault as «brutal», stressing that it represents an attack on the sovereignty of all Arab and Islamic nations. It also renewed its call to «break all relations and cancel all agreements with the Zionist entity». Al Adl wal Ihsane likewise denounced the strike, which it said targeted «the Hamas leadership in Doha». The movement described the incident as a «dangerous escalation that undermines Qatar's sovereignty and directly targets the symbols of Palestinian resistance». Expressing solidarity with Hamas leaders and Palestinian factions, the group condemned what it called the «deceitful and criminal expansionist tendency of the Zionist enemy» and urged Morocco to «cut all ties with Israel» while «supporting the resistance». Earlier in the day, Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the attack, strongly denouncing what it described as a violation of Qatar's sovereignty.
