Buildings & Logistics Services (BLS), a subsidiary of H&S Invest Holding chaired by Moncef Belkhayat, has signed a record warehousing agreement with Varun Beverages Morocco, the bottler and producer of PepsiCo brands such as Pepsi and Lay's. The 31,000 m² logistics platform, currently under construction in Lakhyayta, south of Casablanca, represents an investment worth 120 million dirhams over nine years, the two companies announced Thursday in a joint press release. «We chose to entrust our logistics to a leading national player in order to fully focus on developing our brands», said Salahaddine Mouaddib, CEO of Varun Beverages Morocco. «Pepsi, Lay's, and our entire portfolio still have significant growth potential, and we need an expert partner in warehousing and transport». For his part, Moncef Belkhayat, CEO of BLS, underlined: «31,000 m² for nine years is a national record in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods). We are investing 2 billion dirhams over the next two years to expand our capacity and support the growth of our clients, including Varun Beverages Morocco». Founded in 2011, BLS operates in 12 Moroccan cities, managing 500,000 m² of assets with a capacity of 250,000 pallet positions. It is a key player in contract logistics, transport and distribution, freight, copacking, and asset management. Varun Beverages Morocco, a subsidiary of the Indian group Varun Beverages Limited, produces, markets, and distributes PepsiCo products in Morocco, adapting them to local consumers while operating to international standards.
