Security personnel at Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport apprehended a French national of Turkish descent on Sunday. This arrest comes in response to an international warrant issued by French judicial authorities, as confirmed by security sources. The 44-year-old suspect was flagged in the Interpol database, revealing a red notice from the National Central Bureau in Paris. This notice was issued due to his alleged connections to a criminal network engaged in fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion. He is also under suspicion for various financial and economic crimes, according to the same sources. The suspect is currently undergoing extradition procedures. Meanwhile, the Interpol-Rabat National Central Bureau, which operates under the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), has been instructed to inform its French counterpart about the arrest.
