FIFA announced on Thursday the official opening of voting for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025, which annually celebrate the most outstanding figures in world football. This year's edition will honor the players and coaches who made their mark during a thrilling season, highlighted by the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States, which drew 2.5 million spectators and billions of TV viewers worldwide. Among the nominees for The Best FIFA Men's Player award is Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, the Paris Saint-Germain defender whose exceptional performances for both club and country have earned him renewed global acclaim. A driving force on PSG's right flank, Hakimi has impressed with his consistency, influence, and ability to shine in decisive moments. The shortlist also features several top international stars, including Ousmane Dembélé (France/PSG), Harry Kane (England/Bayern Munich), Kylian Mbappé (France/Real Madrid), Nuno Mendes (Portugal/PSG), Cole Palmer (England/Chelsea), Pedri (Spain/Barcelona), Raphinha (Brazil/Barcelona), Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool), Vitinha (Portugal/PSG), and Lamine Yamal (Spain/Barcelona). In addition to The Best FIFA Men's Player, awards will also be presented for the Best Women's Player, Best Coach in men's and women's football, Best Goalkeeper, as well as the FIFA Fan Award and the Puskás and Marta Awards recognizing the most beautiful goals of the year. Voting runs from November 6 to 28, 2025 (until 11:59 PM CET) through FIFA's dedicated platform at FIFA.com/The-Best-FIFA-Football-Awards-2025. National team coaches and captains, specialized journalists, and registered fans will all take part, each group contributing 25% to the final results.
