The 2025 CAF Awards will be held in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday, November 19, honoring Africa's top football talents and achievements over the past year, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Friday. The ceremony will kick off at 7:00 PM local time and will celebrate players, coaches, clubs, and national teams whose performances have stood out on the continental and international stage. Among the distinctions to be awarded are: African Player of the Year (Men & Women), Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year, Club of the Year, and Young Player of the Year. The nominees for African Player of the Year in both categories have already been announced. The men's award has recently gone to Ademola Lookman (2024), Victor Osimhen (2023), and Sadio Mané (2022, 2019), while Mohamed Salah took the title in 2018. In the women's category, winners include Barbra Banda (2024), Asisat Oshoala (2023, 2022, 2019), and Thembi Kgatlana (2018). Last year's CAF Awards was held on 16 December 2024 in Marrakech.
