DR ‹ › The Spanish airline Vueling announced on Thursday a major expansion of its flight program, with the launch of new routes to Nador, Fès, Marrakech and Tangier. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen air connectivity between several Spanish airports and Morocco, which the carrier considers a priority market and a key pillar of its growth strategy. Among the main additions, Vueling will introduce direct flights from Barcelona to Nador and Fès. The Nador route will operate on a regular basis, with increased frequencies during the summer season. The new connection to Fès will improve access to Morocco's spiritual capital, bringing the number of Moroccan destinations served by the airline from Barcelona to five. Vueling will also continue to expand its other Spanish bases targeting the Moroccan market. From Santiago de Compostela, an additional flight will allow the launch of a new route to Marrakech, while Alicante airport will inaugurate a direct connection to Tangier. In addition, the Barcelona–Agadir route will now be operated year-round. Through this ambitious programme, Vueling is reaffirming the importance of the Moroccan market in its international growth strategy, contributing to stronger tourism and economic exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean. Founded in 2004 and based in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona, Vueling Airlines is one of Europe's leading low-cost carriers, operating an extensive network of Mediterranean and European destinations.
