DR ‹ › As the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) approaches, Casablanca is rolling out an exceptional mobility plan to ensure smooth travel for residents and visitors alike. The city's tramway and busway network has been fully decked out in Afcon colors, in line with the visual identity adopted by the city, creating a festive atmosphere around the tournament, announces a press release on Friday. A dedicated communication campaign has been launched for tramway and busway subscribers, encouraging them to recharge their travel cards in advance to avoid congestion at sales points and customer service offices. To this end, online recharging via the CasaTramway and CasaBusway website and mobile application is fully operational. Passenger information services have also been significantly strengthened, with the introduction of a special Afcon network map, a multilingual digital information system, dedicated wayfinding materials, and a personalized, limited-edition travel ticket designed in Afcon 2025 colors. Stations located near the stadium and the 13 fan zones will benefit from additional multilingual on-the-ground teams tasked with welcoming, informing, and assisting passengers throughout the event. On match days, transport services will be reinforced to cope with increased demand and ensure smoother travel before and after games. In parallel, a special committee has been set up to guarantee rapid, real-time intervention in the event of equipment damage, accidents, or acts of vandalism. All urban mobility teams are fully mobilized to contribute to the success of CAN 2025 and to make the tournament a source of national pride.
