They will serve their sentences in a corrective labor colony. According to the verdict published Tuesday on the court's website, the defendants were also found guilty of premeditated planning under the Russian Penal Code. The ruling states that, «with the intention of traveling from Morocco to Finland», the accused entered Kazakhstan in June 2025. Traveling by car, they reached a border area between the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, before continuing on foot near Novotroitsk in the Orenburg region, close to the village of Prigorodnoye. The group then took a train to the Leningrad region, where they were apprehended at Vyborg station before reaching their destination en route to Finland.
