DR ‹ › Strong, locally intense wind gusts are expected on Friday across several provinces of the Kingdom, according to an alert issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Wind gusts reaching 90 to 100 km/h are forecast from 12:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday in the provinces of El Jadida, Safi, Sidi Bennour, Azilal, Midelt, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, and Essaouira. Gusts ranging between 75 and 90 km/h are also expected in the provinces of Youssoufia, Berrechid, Figuig, Jerada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Marrakech, Rehamna, Nouaceur, Casablanca, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Chtouka Ait Baha, Sidi Ifni, and Taroudant. The DGM urges residents in the affected areas to take the necessary precautions.
