The federation's website officially declared Ounahi injured, noting that despite this setback, he will remain with the team to support his teammates throughout the rest of the competition, embodying a spirit of solidarity and unity. National coach Walid Regragui confirmed in a Sunday press conference that the midfielder will be sidelined for the remainder of the tournament, with an expected recovery period of five to six weeks.
