A graduate of the Ecole supérieure de communication et de publicité (Com Sup), Tarik Bouidar made his illustrations a familiar and anticipated feature for readers of both publications. A trailblazer of satirical cartooning in Morocco, the late artist used sharp humor to provoke reflection on contemporary issues, while maintaining a sense of nuance and subtlety. According to Le360, Tarik Bouidar will be laid to rest on Friday at the Sidi Massoud Cemetery in Casablanca.
