DR ‹ › The national final of the FIRST® LEGO® League, held in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, concluded in early February 2026 on the campus of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Benguerir. After two days of competition focused on archaeology and technology under the theme «UNEARTHED», five teams stood out for their technical excellence and innovation. The LOGIKO team from Casablanca claimed first place and will represent Morocco at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, USA (April 29–May 2, 2026). The Omar Robotic team (Casablanca) secured second place and qualified for the International Open in Corinth, Greece (May 8–11), while Robotics For Future (Moulay Yacoub) placed third and will compete in Guadalajara, Mexico (May 27–30). SUBROTIC Senior (Casablanca) finished fourth and qualified for the Canada Cup of Robotics in Thorold (June 17–20), and ECOTEC Senior (Deroua) placed fifth, earning a spot at the Western Edge Invitational in Long Beach, USA (May 29–31). «These five teams are ambassadors of Morocco's Digital Morocco 2030 strategy», said Laila Berchane, president of LOOP For Science & Technology, highlighting the role of the partnership with the Ministry and UM6P in promoting young Moroccan talent on the global stage.
