DR ‹ › Moroccan athlete Hamza Najih won first place at an international HYROX competition held in Turin, Italy, last week, topping the 16–24 age category against hundreds of competitors from more than 20 countries. The 22-year-old completed the race in 1 hour and 33 seconds, ahead of France's Louka Pinard and Italy's Enrico Falconi. «I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be able to race with such passion and drive, and I will keep doing so while raising the Moroccan flag», the functional athlete wrote on Instagram. HYROX is an international fitness competition that combines running with functional workout stations, designed to test both endurance and strength across multiple disciplines.
