DR ‹ › Local authorities in the city of Ksar El Kébir began distributing in-kind aid on Sunday evening to residents who returned to their homes following the improvement in weather conditions. This initiative forms part of the broader efforts undertaken by local authorities to implement the comprehensive plan set up by the Larache provincial administration to facilitate the phased return of affected residents starting yesterday. The plan outlines designated transportation, secured routes, and an on-the-ground supervision system to ensure the smooth execution of the operation and safeguard the safety of citizens. The aid packages, which will be distributed gradually as more residents return home, include six liters of milk, five liters of cooking oil, five kilograms of sugar, ten kilograms of flour, five kilograms of rice, 400 grams of tea, and 400 grams of salt. The operation aims to provide suitable conditions to help residents resume their normal lives, especially as the number of open shops and service businesses is expected to gradually increase with the return of more families. This initiative is part of the continued mobilization of public authorities and the various services and agencies involved on the ground, whether during the evacuation phase to safe areas, the provision of shelter, or the organization of the return process and support for residents as they regain their usual way of life.
