DR ‹ › The Spanish airline Air Europa has announced the expansion of its summer schedule with the introduction of a new route to Tangier, set to launch on June 17. This new service will initially operate three times a week, before gradually increasing to five weekly flights in August to meet the high summer demand. The operation will continue until mid-September, the company specifies. As part of its summer program, Air Europa also plans to resume several seasonal routes from Madrid to Marrakech, Tunis, Athens, and Alghero, aiming to accommodate the surge in traffic observed during the summer season. Regarding Marrakech, the route will be relaunched in early April with two weekly flights, before being increased to five flights per week in July and August, and then reduced to two weekly flights until mid-October. In total, these routes will account for more than 700 round-trip flights, offering an additional capacity of around 130,000 seats, reflecting the airline's commitment to strengthening its presence in key tourist destinations.
