DR ‹ › On Wednesday, 270 Moroccans stranded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, were evacuated on a special flight organized by Royal Air Maroc amid ongoing disruptions affecting air travel across the Middle East. A company official told SNRTnews that the aircraft departed from Dubai International Airport at 10 a.m. local time (6 a.m. in Morocco), bound for Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. Earlier this week, the airline announced the cancellation of all scheduled flights to and from Doha and Dubai on March 3, urging affected passengers to check their flight status via the «Manage My Booking» service and contact the call center or sales offices to benefit from flexible rebooking options. The disruptions come amid escalating military tensions in the region, following U.S. and Israeli strikes on sites in Iran. Tehran responded with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as U.S. military bases in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The escalation has led to widespread flight disruptions and partial airport closures across the region.
