DR ‹ › During the Council of Ministers chaired by King Mohammed VI on Thursday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, a draft organic law amending and supplementing the framework governing appointments to senior positions was approved. The reform introduces several changes, including the addition of the National Agency for Child Protection to the list of strategic public institutions whose heads are appointed in the Council of Ministers, the renaming of the Mohammadia Foundation for Social Works of Magistrates and Justice officials to become the Mohammadia Foundation for Social Works of Justice staff, and the inclusion of the position of general judicial conservators among senior roles within public administrations subject to approval by the Government Council. In the military domain, the King, in his capacity as Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, approved a draft decree amending the status of military attachés, their assistants, and other personnel assigned to them. The bilateral agreements cover air transport, judicial cooperation, customs cooperation, and military collaboration, particularly in training, exchange of expertise, and technical assistance. The multilateral agreements include an amendment protocol to the Marrakech Agreement establishing the World Trade Organization, the Constitution and Convention of the African Union of Telecommunications, an agreement with the African cybersecurity authorities network to establish a regional cyber incident response center in Morocco, and a host country agreement with the African Union Development Agency to set up its national office in the Kingdom. In accordance with Article 49 of the Constitution, and upon proposal by the Head of Government and at the initiative of the Minister of Health and Social Protection, the King also approved several senior appointments in the health sector.
