DR ‹ › On Saturday, the Consulate General of Morocco in Paris held an open day dedicated to Moroccans living within its consular jurisdiction. This initiative, marked by the exceptional mobilization of consular teams, enabled attendees to complete various administrative procedures. The event aimed to accommodate the needs of Moroccans abroad, especially students who are unable to visit the consulate during weekdays. During this open day, a range of services were offered, such as the renewal of passports and national identity cards, issuance of civil status documents, and legalization of administrative papers. Additionally, personalized assistance was provided, addressing administrative, legal, and social concerns. Speaking to MAP, the Consul General of Morocco in Paris, Habiba Zemmouri, highlighted that this initiative aligns with the consulate's proximity policy. This approach is designed to allow Moroccan nationals, who cannot access consular services during regular working days, to benefit from these services in a more convenient setting. The initiative also serves to raise awareness about the latest developments in consular services, including the regulations governing them and the digital platforms available to streamline administrative processes, Zemmouri emphasized. The consulate plans to continue organizing similar open days regularly to maintain this level of accessibility.
