Belgian club Sporting Lokeren has announced the signing of Moroccan-Belgian winger Anisse Brrou. The 26-year-old returns to Belgium from Bulgaria, where he played for Lokomotiv Sofia. Brrou has signed a two-year contract with an option, the club confirmed in a statement. «Now back in Belgium, our compatriot brings speed, flair, and technical skill to Lokeren's attack. Welcome to Daknam, Anisse!» the club wrote. Anisse developed in Standard de Liège's youth academy. After stints with the Netherlands' Roda JC reserves and Belgium's URSL Visé, he returned to Standard in 2022, playing for SL16. He has also represented Morocco at the U17 level. Last season, Brrou was a regular for Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria's competitive league, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists in 22 matches.
