Moroccan healthcare group AKDITAL announced on Tuesday, July 29, that it has signed a protocol agreement with Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Mishari for Development LLC to lease and manage the Abdul Rahman Al Mishari Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hospital is located in the Al Olaya district of the Saudi capital. This deal marks AKDITAL's first entry into international markets. The Riyadh facility, established in 1987 by gynecologist Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Mishari, operates 140 beds and employs more than 500 staff across its medical and surgical departments. The hospital offers multidisciplinary healthcare services through 44 consultation clinics and holds accreditations from the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), Joint Commission International (JCI), Accreditation Canada, and the American Association of Continuing Medical Education (AACME). The acquisition is subject to approval from Saudi regulatory authorities. AKDITAL, Morocco's largest private healthcare provider, stated that the move aligns with development cooperation objectives between Morocco and Saudi Arabia. The group's network is focused on expanding access to private healthcare services across Morocco.
