Under the directive of King Mohammed VI, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan extended a warm welcome to the Al-Quds children participating in the 16th edition of the summer camps, organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, at the Royal Palace in Tetouan on Monday. This gesture underscores the monarch's steadfast support for the Holy City and its people. This initiative bolsters the Agency's efforts, which are focused on aiding Al-Quds and its residents through impactful projects, especially benefiting women, children, and those in challenging situations. Dubbed «Harat Al Maghariba», this year's camp, running from August 10 to 26, is hosting 50 children from Al-Quds, both boys and girls aged 11 to 14, along with five supervisors from the Holy City, just like in previous editions. The program included educational excursions, artistic and sports competitions, as well as cultural visits shared with Moroccan children, enriching the experience for all participants. During the event, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was welcomed by Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, the director overseeing the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, along with the supervisors and the children from Al-Quds who are part of this year's camp. Following this, the Crown Prince joined a commemorative photo session and presided over a reception hosted by King Mohammed VI in honor of the visiting children. In a touching moment, the children from Al-Quds presented the Crown Prince with a souvenir gift. Since its launch in 2008, the summer camp program by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency has hosted 800 children from various neighborhoods of the Holy City, along with 80 supervisors. This initiative has allowed them to explore different regions of Morocco and experience the profound solidarity of the Moroccan people with the Palestinians.
