Over four vibrant days, September 18–21, 2025, the 23rd edition of L'Boulevard drew 40,000+ enthusiastic attendees to Casablanca's R.U.C. Stadium. At its core, the Tremplin competition spotlighted emerging talent across rap/hip-hop, fusion & contemporary, and rock/metal. At the closing ceremony, six winners were selected from 15 finalists (chosen from 340 applicants). In rap/hip-hop, Al 7assan (Agadir) took first place, with Vlien (Salé) runner-up. In fusion & contemporary, Imadriwen (Ouarzazate) won ahead of Badil (Mohammedia)—a «desert psych rock» band with Saharan and psychedelic influences, previously featured at Jazzablanca 2023 and FIMU Belfort 2025. In rock/metal, the jury recognized Manic Attack (Témara) and New Hate (Casablanca). The guest lineup underscored L'Boulevard's diversity, with 37 acts from Morocco, Palestine, Niger, France, Sweden, Hungary, and Trinidad & Tobago, organizers said. Azmz (a collaboration between Raskas and Bnat Louz) fused electronic textures with Amazigh sounds. Loun delivered raw energy, while Mehdi Black Wind and Madd showcased two distinct styles. Isam Elias played with tension and contrast; Soukaina Fahsi offered an unadorned, intimate set. Bombino transported the crowd with hypnotic Saharan grooves. In the metal slot, Moroccan Tribute to Death led the charge, followed by Gorod and Katatonia. Final-night performances featured Bohemian Betyars, Zar Electrik, Tasuta N-Imal, Saad Tiouly, Queen Omega, and Royal Souls. Beyond the stages, the festival's associative and creative Souk, described as the event's «beating heart», brought together labels, artisans, collectives, and associations to engage with the public. That community spirit extended to the educational visits on site: participatory circus workshops by Colokolo Company, the vibrant Liquid Bridge dance floor, and multiple awareness and prevention initiatives, including Souk Rassek's work against gender-based violence, helped make this edition «an open space for everyone, where culture, engagement, and sharing intersect».
