A young man tragically lost his life on Monday evening while attempting to cross the sea from the city of Fnideq to Ceuta. According to media reports, «the victim's body was discovered on Granotil Beach in the M'diq-Fnideq region, having been swept ashore by the waves during his ill-fated crossing attempt». Once alerted to the incident, security authorities and civil protection teams promptly arrived at the scene. They recovered the body and initiated an investigation, under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, to uncover the circumstances and details of this tragic event.
