The drone production project by Israeli company BlueBird in Morocco is making swift progress. Officers from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) are currently undergoing training at BlueBird's headquarters in Israel as part of a technology transfer initiative, as reported on Wednesday, November 12, by the Moroccan Military Forum on social media. The announcement includes photos showcasing this training program. This endeavor is designed to equip Moroccan military personnel with the skills needed to master the manufacturing techniques of the SpyX kamikaze drone, a device that BlueBird has already tested twice in Morocco. The involvement of FAR members signifies an initial step towards the opening of the BlueBird factory in Morocco. This facility will be operated by Moroccan executives under the guidance of Israeli engineers, according to a source close to the matter contacted by Yabiladi. It is noteworthy that the CEO of BlueBird Aero Systems announced in December 2024, during an interview with the Israeli press, the construction of this drone production plant in Morocco. In November 2021, Morocco and Israel signed a military and security cooperation agreement in Rabat, laying the groundwork for this type of strategic partnership.
