DR ‹ › Heavy rainfall, snowfall, locally stormy showers and strong wind gusts are expected from this Sunday across several provinces, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced. According to an orange-level alert bulletin, heavy rain (20–40 mm) is forecast this Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the provinces of Figuig, Errachidia, Safi, Sidi Bennour, El Jadida, Rehamna, Berkane and Nador. Snowfall above 1,600 meters is also expected from Tuesday at midnight until Wednesday at noon, with: 50–60 cm of snow in Al Haouz, Azilal and Ouarzazate, 30–50 cm in Chichaoua, Tinghir, Taroudant, Midelt, Khénifra and Béni Mellal, 10–30 cm in Ifrane, Sefrou and Boulemane. The DGM adds that locally stormy heavy rain (40–60 mm) is expected on Tuesday from midnight to 11:00 p.m. in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Khémisset, Benslimane, Settat, Skhirate-Témara, Salé, Berrechid, Khénifra and Khouribga. Finally, strong wind gusts (75–85 km/h) are forecast from Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. to Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. in Al Haouz, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Zagora, Tata, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni and Guelmim.
