DR ‹ › Snowfall starting at 1,400 meters and heavy, sometimes stormy rain are expected from Friday to Sunday in several provinces of Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Snowfall ranging from 30 to 50 cm is forecast from Friday at noon until Sunday at 6 a.m. in the provinces of Midelt, Ouarzazate, and Tinghir, as stated by the DGM in an orange-level vigilance alert bulletin. The provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Khenifra, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Al Haouz, and Taroudant will experience snowfall of 10 to 30 cm during the same period. In addition, heavy, sometimes stormy rains (20-30 mm) will affect the provinces of Tiznit, Tan-Tan, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, and Tarfaya from Friday at noon until Saturday at 6 a.m., the same source adds.
