DR ‹ › On Friday, the body of a 17-year-old Moroccan from the city of Imintanoute, in Chichaoua province, was recovered after he attempted to swim toward Ceuta. His body was washed ashore at Rincon beach, near M'diq. According to reports, the teenager was found wearing a diving suit. His body was transferred to the morgue, where it was formally identified by his family, who had lost contact with him earlier in the week. Relatives had previously taken to social media to appeal for information about their son's whereabouts, before receiving confirmation of his death following the identification.
