According to Spanish media reports, Civil Guard officers had been alerted to an attempted crossing by a group of migrants trying to climb the border fence and moved to the area to intervene. During the operation, security personnel found the body of a young man in a mountainous zone adjacent to the fence. Preliminary information indicates that there were no visible signs of violence on the body, suggesting that the death may have been due to natural causes. The Civil Guard said the victim was approximately 20 years old and that his death likely occurred around 12 hours before the body was discovered. An autopsy is scheduled to be carried out on Monday to determine the exact cause and time of death.
