DR ‹ › An agreement was recently signed in Rome between the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Italy and the Italian Federation of Training and Professional Guidance Bodies, aimed at strengthening cooperation in business support, vocational training, and sustainable development in both countries. The accord, signed by the Chamber's president, Marouan El Mansoub, and the Federation's president, Laura Maza, seeks to enhance collaboration in areas such as professional qualification, certification of competencies, and aligning training with the evolving needs of the labor market, particularly in emerging professions. It also provides for the development of cooperation programs at the Mediterranean level. The agreement further promotes sustainable development, innovation, and the internationalization of businesses and economic stakeholders. It includes support services for companies, professional integration initiatives, and the strengthening of cultural diplomacy as a tool for integration and mutual understanding. Plans also involve organizing events, exhibitions, and institutional meetings. Speaking on the occasion, El Mansoub described the agreement as «an important step in fostering dialogue between the public and private sectors in Morocco and Italy», noting that training is a key driver of economic growth in a rapidly changing market that poses significant challenges in attracting and managing human resources. For her part, Laura Maza stressed that the partnership reflects a «shared vision» that views the Mediterranean basin as a strategic space for cooperation, opportunity, and shared responsibility.
