DR ‹ › Two light magnitude 3.0 earthquakes were recorded in Morocco on Wednesday, February 25, within minutes of each other, reports Volcano Discovery. The first quake struck at 11:10 a.m. near Ifrane, about 8.2 km south of the city. It occurred at a depth of 17 km and was reported as very weak (intensity II), with limited tremors felt near the epicenter. Just three minutes later, at 11:13 a.m., a second magnitude 3.0 earthquake hit approximately 12 km southwest of Al Hoceima, at a depth of 12 km. The tremor was felt more widely in the area, with 24 reports submitted, mainly from Al Hoceima and surrounding towns. Shaking was classified as weak (intensity III) near the epicenter. No damage or injuries have been reported following the two tremors.
