Moroccan university students are now eligible for a free one-year subscription to Google's Gemini Pro plan, part of the company's new Google AI Pro offering. The initiative gives students access to advanced artificial intelligence tools, research features, and 2 terabytes of cloud storage through Google One, all at no cost for 12 months. The offer, valid until December 9, 2025, is available to higher-education students in eligible regions, including Morocco. Applicants must be 18 or older and enrolled at a recognized institution. To activate the offer, Moroccan students must verify their student status through SheerID, hold a personal Google account (not a university Workspace account), have a Google Payments profile with a valid payment method, and subscribe to the Google AI Pro plan via the Google Play Store. The plan unlocks Gemini's Pro 2.5 model, offering unlimited text and image conversations, advanced reasoning, and deep-search capabilities. Students can upload handwritten notes, equations, or textbook pages for instant explanations, or turn course materials into custom quizzes, flashcards, and study guides to prepare for exams. It also includes Deep Research, which conducts in-depth online searches and generates concise, cited reports, and Gemini Live, allowing students to speak with the AI, rehearse presentations, or share their screen for real-time feedback. The plan also has access to Veo 3.1 Fast, which turns text and images into short videos, while the audio-summary tool converts lectures and chapters into podcast-style study guides. Users also gain access to Whisk and Flow, Google's creative AI tools for storyboarding and cinematic video generation, as well as NotebookLM, the company's intelligent research assistant. Students will also receive 2 TB of cloud storage through Google One, enough for research projects, papers, and high-resolution media. Article modified on : 11/11/2025 14h53
