DR ‹ › Police in the Chefchaouen region have arrested two individuals suspected of assaulting a British tourist and robbing him at knifepoint. According to local sources, the suspects were apprehended during a security operation in the Dardara area, where they were found inside a vehicle believed to have been used in the attack. The same sources said the incident occurred shortly after the tourist arrived in Chefchaouen. The suspects allegedly threatened him with a knife inside the car before stealing around 2,500 dirhams. The two suspects are currently in custody on the orders of the public prosecutor and will remain detained pending further investigation and their court appearance.
