According to a red-level weather alert, heavy rain ranging between 90 and 120 mm is expected in the province of Chefchaouen from Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until Friday at 6:00 p.m. The same weather phenomenon, with rainfall totals between 60 and 90 mm, is forecast over the same period in the provinces of Al Hoceima and Larache. Meanwhile, rainfall amounts ranging from 30 to 60 mm are expected during the same timeframe in the provinces of Fahs-Anjra, Ouezzane, Tanger-Assilah, M'Diq-Fnideq, Taza, Tetouan, Kenitra, and Taounate, according to an orange-level alert issued by the DGM. In addition, strong wind gusts reaching 75 to 85 km/h are expected from Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the provinces of M'Diq-Fnideq, Tetouan, Tanger-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Taza, Guercif, Taourirt, Driouch, Al Hoceima, and Oujda-Angad.
