DR ‹ › The Moroccan national sailing team is competing in the 14th Arab Sailing Championship, currently being held in Soma Bay, Egypt, from January 28 to February 1, 2026, under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Sailing Federation. This high-level continental competition brings together 136 athletes from 10 Arab countries, said the federation. Morocco is represented by a delegation of 11 sailors, coached by Saïd Machrouhi, with Marouane Hasni serving as head of delegation. The Moroccan athletes are competing across several categories, including Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, and iQFoil. The championship officially got underway with the first scheduled races, with Moroccan sailors entering the competition determined to perform at a high level, uphold fair play, and proudly represent the national colors.
