In an orange-level alert bulletin, the DGM forecasts heavy rain and stormy showers ranging between 60 and 90 mm from Thursday noon until 11:00 p.m. on Friday in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Tétouan, Larache, Al Hoceima, and Taza. During the same period, rainfall totals of 40 to 60 mm are expected in Taounate and Ouezzane, while amounts between 30 and 40 mm are forecast in Kénitra, Sefrou, Fès, Sidi Kacem, Béni Mellal, Meknès, Tanger-Assilah, M'Diq-Fnideq, Moulay Yacoub, Fahs-Anjra, El Hajeb, Ifrane, Khénifra, Khémisset, and Sidi Slimane. The DGM also warned of strong wind gusts of 75 to 85 km/h on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Tanger-Assilah, Tétouan, M'Diq-Fnideq, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Midelt, Kénitra, Berkane, Driouch, Figuig, Nador, Oujda-Angad, El Jadida, Safi, Sidi Bennour, El Hajeb, Ifrane, Boulemane, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Taounate, Taza, Chefchaouen, and Taourirt. On Friday, between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., similar wind conditions are expected to affect Taroudant, Al Haouz, Tétouan, M'Diq-Fnideq, Berkane, Driouch, Figuig, Tata, Ouarzazate, Jerada, Nador, Tiznit, Larache, Tanger-Assilah, Taza, Chefchaouen, Fahs-Anjra, Ifrane, Midelt, Boulemane, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Oujda-Angad, Azilal, Taourirt, and Tinghir.
