According to an orange-level weather alert issued by the DGM, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and a risk of hail, ranging between 40 and 65 mm, is forecast from Friday at 6:00 a.m. through Saturday at 6:00 a.m. in the provinces of Al Hoceima, Khémisset, Béni Mellal, El Hajeb, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taounate, Taza, Chefchaouen, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Ouezzane, Tanger-Assilah, Tétouan, and M'Diq-Fnideq. The same weather conditions, with rainfall totals between 30 and 40 mm, are also expected in Driouch, Salé, Rabat, Kénitra, Skhirat-Témara, Fès, Moulay Yaâcoub, Meknès, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Benslimane, Khouribga, Azilal, and Guercif. In addition, strong wind gusts ranging from 70 to 85 km/h are forecast during the same period, from Friday at 6:00 a.m. to Saturday at 6:00 a.m., in the provinces of M'Diq-Fnideq, Tinghir, Sidi Slimane, Rabat, Driouch, Jerada, Berkane, Nador, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Sidi Kacem, Salé, Tata, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Skhirat-Témara, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Errachidia, Ifrane, Khénifra, Meknès, El Hajeb, Moulay Yaâcoub, Ouezzane, Fès, Sefrou, Midelt, Boulemane, Guercif, Guelmim, Kénitra, Khémisset, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Al Haouz, Tanger-Assilah, Zagora, Figuig, Al Hoceima, Taounate, Taza, Chefchaouen, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, and Tétouan.
