DR ‹ › Strong winds and stormy showers are expected on Thursday and Friday across several provinces in Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Strong wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h, accompanied by blowing dust, are forecast on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the provinces of Figuig, Taourirt, and Jerada, the DGM said in an orange-level alert. Thunderstorms bringing 20 to 30 mm of rainfall, along with hail and locally strong winds, are also expected from Thursday at 2:00 p.m. until Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the provinces of Sefrou, Boulemane, Al Hoceïma, Berkane, Taza, Taounate, Moulay Yacoub, Fès, Ifrane, El Hajeb, Taourirt, Oujda-Angad, Jerada, Guercif, Driouch, and Nador, the bulletin added.
