DR ‹ › The Moroccan Embassy in Spain and all Moroccan general consulates have reaffirmed that serving Moroccan citizens and safeguarding their interests remain an absolute priority. In this context, the central services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad held a coordination meeting by videoconference on Wednesday with the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid and the twelve general consulates operating across Spain. The meeting forms part of ongoing coordination with the consular network aimed at monitoring the services provided to members of the Moroccan community abroad and improving their quality. Several measures were adopted following the meeting, including the extension of working hours and public reception until 6:00 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday. In addition, on-call services will be ensured on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, allowing citizens with appointments to complete their administrative procedures under optimal conditions. It was also decided to maintain continuous mobilization of consular staff, who are required to remain on constant alert in order to respond promptly to citizens' needs. In this regard, the Moroccan Embassy in Spain and the general consulates reiterated their commitment to continuing efforts to ensure the efficiency of consular services and the protection of citizens' rights, in line with royal directives.
