DR ‹ › Thunderstorms with locally heavy showers, hail, and strong wind gusts are expected this Tuesday in several provinces of Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Heavy thunderstorms (25–35 mm), with a risk of hail, are forecast from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the provinces of Figuig, Boulemane, Settat, Marrakech, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Rhamna, and Al Haouz, the DGM said in an orange-level alert bulletin. Strong wind gusts of 75 to 80 km/h are also expected to affect the provinces of Tetouan, Tangier-Assilah, and Fahs-Anjra until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, the same source added.
